The bag is internally divided with two zipped compartments, opening one from the top and the other from the side. The top one is small, but big enough for a wallet and cell phone. The adjustable straps can be moved to orient the bag vertically or horizontally, or for use as a back-pack. Back and front are stiff - the sides expand to about 3 inches deep. Back is stamped with the Alchemy Gothic logo and the pewter fittings themselves are just gorgeous!
